| Caribbean Cruise - 2007 Ship and Activities |
|
Our trip began in San Juan, where we boarded the Adventure of the Seas. The first activity on board was the life jacket drill--the first thing on every cruise. Here we are on our way to an exploration of one of the islands. |
This view shows the several layers of "poolside" sunning areas on such a large ship. There were 3,500 guests aboard, plus the staff (laundry, wait, stewards, etc.) There were activities poolside most afternoons (sexy men's legs contests, dance lessons, etc.) |

The main walkway was Deck 5, where the shops and some of the bars were. It was the main route between fore and aft. |
At one end of Deck 5 there was this 3 or 4 story glass sculpture that was spectacular.. |
|
Both our rooms had balconies. Tracey is looking out at San Juan before we left the dock |
The second night of the cruise was a formal dinner night, and it happened to be Brown's 77th birthday. Dinner in the evening was always an occasion. |
|
Trace had the most fun of us all. There was an in line skating course, a basketball area, an arcade, an ice skating rink, and putt putt golf. The teen club was off limits to parents, but it was Trace's hangout for nearly all the cruise. |
And here are several good reasons why he spent the majority of his time in the teen club! Wouldn't You? |
| Hot tubs were times to drink and visit with the other people who soaked and drank as well. |
A cloudy sunset with two romantic people we know.... |
| Most nights we came to our room late to find towel animals adorning our bed. The steward formed them and here are some of our animals: a snake, a rabbit, a monkey, an elephant and a floppy eared dog. |
